Araştırma yaparken kullanılan birçok eserde sıklıkla kısaltmalara rastlamaktayız. Bu kısaltmalar yazarlara kolaylık sağlarken okuyucunun takibini zorlaştırmaktadır. Bu sebeple daha önce yapılmış bilim tarihi araştırmaları hakkında bilgi sahibi olmak için önemli bir kaynak eser olan Mathematicians, Astronomers, and Other Scholars adlı kitapta yer alan kısaltmaların açılımını hazırladım.
Osmanlıca yazma eserler için hazırlanan kataloglara ait kısaltmalar için tıklayınız.
